Dr. Mary Spencer
Co-founder
Dr. Mary Spencer is the visionary co-founder of the Inner Light Community Center in Kennesaw, GA. Through her own journey of trials and tribulations, she discovered that metaphysical and spiritual practices provided a path to staying centered, grounded, and open to the natural flow of life. These transformative practices allowed her to navigate life’s challenges with peace and ease rather than stress and anxiety. Inspired by the profound impact these practices had on her, she felt a strong calling to share this wisdom, which led to the creation of the Inner Light Community Center.
One of the Center's core missions is to offer an open and welcoming space for those called to assist others in their healing journeys. The ultimate vision of the Inner Light Community Center is to bring people together in a community where they can teach, learn, and practice methods that help them reach their full potential and live more fulfilling lives.
Dr. Mary obtained her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1991 and ran a family wellness practice for almost 30 years. She is deeply committed to understanding the intricate connection between mind, body, and spirit. In addition to her chiropractic expertise, she has completed Usui/Holy Fire Reiki I and II training, is recently certified in spiritual and life coaching, and is currently pursuing her Tai Chi certification. Passionate about helping others uncover their truths, often hidden beneath layers of limiting beliefs, she is dedicated to empowering her clients.
When she’s not practicing yoga or tai chi, managing her cabin rental business, or deepening her studies, Dr. Mary cherishes time with her family, including her mother, two adult daughters, three spirited grandchildren, and her wonderful husband, with whom she loves to travel the world.
